When most people do bead art they melt the beads JUST enough to fuse them together. So the sprite is usually full of all the little pin holes. The only downside to doing it my way (melting the beads into actual pixel shape) is that it takes use out of the re-usable pegboards you create them on.

I think Link looks better with the beads melted into actual squares personally, so here he is.
